The 2000 square meter data center is 100% redundant, built for 50 years’ uninterrupted operations and complies with the most stringent market demands for security, stable operations and quality. Even if central parts of the cooling systems or electrical infrastructure must be replaced, the redundant systems make it possible to do it without shutting down.
Saving energy is important to NNIT – because it is good business and because it makes good sense. NNIT’s new data center will be among the very best also when it comes to energy efficiency and green IT (PUE = 1.3).

All customers benefit
NNIT’s customers grow and their number increase. This means that we must offer more capacity than our present data centers can provide. When the new data center is completed in the beginning of 2011, the extensive migration of the data and systems of customers will start and two of our three existing data centers will be closed.
In this process we will utilise NNIT’s considerable experience in moving data and systems securely, which is documented in our standard procedures.
