Introduction

In cooperation with Trellis, NNIT has produced a whitepaper on outsourcing named ‘IT outsourcing: Tackling the challenges and delivering value.’
The purpose of this whitepaper is to gain a better understanding of enterprises’ view of IT outsourcing in Denmark. Thus it was critical for us to gain insight to the expectations and ambitions that these organizations bring with them to the IT outsourcing arena as well as to flush out the realities and limitations that can profoundly affect IT outsourcing decisions and results.
The survey is based on answers from 46 companies and organizations. Among the participants are both NNIT customers as well as non-customers. The companies and organizations in the study are larger organizations operating in three industry segments: Finance, Public and Enterprise (eg.: manufacturing, transportation, energy).
