Evenex and NNIT in multimillion outsourcing agreement

29 November 2011 | Press Release

Copenhagen - Evenex – who deliver digital relations to and from more 4,000 public sector and private companies – have just signed a three-digit multi-million DKK contract with NNIT. The deal will see Evenex move its outsourcing from India to the Philippines in order to improve quality, among other things.

IT and consultancy firm Evenex, who work with clever transactions and relations has concluded a contract with NNIT for the development and maintenance of the IT systems that helps the company's 4000+ customers exchange data, documents, information and payments across systems.

”We chose NNIT as a collaborative partner because they offer well-integrated outsourcing where the focus is firmly on quality, documentation and security. This provides the right balance for our customers who, first and foremost, are seeking quality systems that can give them a business edge by virtue of more efficient processes – at the right price, of course," says Evenex CEO Niels Stenfeldt.

The five-year agreement is one of the biggest assignments in the field of application maintenance and development NNIT has ever undertaken. The contract means that 55 NNIT employees will work permanently for Evenex over the next five years. The agreement is a crucial brick in Evenex's endeavours to keep expanding and consoli¬date itself in the market for the exchange of business-critical data and documents.

Work will largely be carried out in NNIT's Philippine division and this has been a conscious choice on the part of Evenex. ”Until now we have been represented in India but with this deal we are taking the next step and moving our outsourcing to the Philippines. This is a conscious and well-considered choice which mirrors the journey, new course and management professionalization Evenex embarked upon barely two years ago. At the same time, it is a powerful signal from us that there are no holy cows when it comes to strengthening our agility and competitiveness," says Niels Stenfeldt. “We chose NNIT in the Philippines because their culture is closer to our Western culture and because the NNIT brand in the Philippines is able to attract and retain the talented people we need for the job.”

”I am proud of the fact that Evenex, who are the absolute leaders in their field, have chosen NNIT as their partner for this significant outsourcing task. Evenex base their business on efficient and quality-based IT systems and applications, and for that precise reason this agreement is a remarkable vote of confidence on NNIT’s ability to deliver quality – also from our divisions outside Denmark,” says Michael Rasmussen, Vice President in NNIT. "We have already used Evenex' services for many years in NNIT and with this agreement we now bring our collaboration to an even higher level."

The agreement encompasses tasks within all of Evenex’s three business areas: The exchange of data and documents, automation and integration of ERP and other systems and solutions in the field of purchasing and invoice processing. More than 360 million documents/transactions a year are handled in the solutions which, for instance, are based on Microsoft Dynamics and SAP.
